Officially Training for 1/2 Marathon

I think I am still riding the high from getting into the Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon yesterday.  Seriously, I couldn't be more excited.  The fact that it was lottery makes it all that more fun.  It was like winning something already.  Really, what else could explain why I am looking forward to this schedule below?  Although, I have to admit, crosstraining days throw me a bit.  I am planning yoga today along with those fabulous squats and plank.  They are getting a little easier, so hopefully that means I am getting stronger!

Have a fabulous Thursday everyone!   And don't forget to enter the raffle for a FunBites of your choice.  You can find the review and rafflecopter here: FunBites Rock!

  1. This is AWESOME!!! Congrats on getting in! Have fun with that workout calendar. Just remember that sometimes your body needs a break to rest or else it will break. Listen to your body and don't feel bad for taking one day off if need be. Just get back at it the next day. :)

    1. Thanks Rebecca. There are 2 scheduled off days. I am still doing planks and squats though. They only take moments.

WOW! Susan this is amazing! What a great idea! Congrats on getting into the 1/2 marathon. You have won already! You are getting into great shape, you are inspiring others, and soon you will have completed a 1/2 marathon. Way to go!

  3. So exciting about your half- I want to do one too, but need to sign up for a 10k first! Good job on keeping up with merryplanksmas- I am doing a crummy job- but started again yesterday!

    1. Thanks, Melissa. The planks are starting to suck :)... 2.5 min nearly killed me today
